HUMAN LIBRARY FOR THE REMEMBRANCE OF THE HOLOCAUST FRIDAY, 12.02.2021, 12:00 CET, ZOOM

The activity

Survivors from the Holocaust and their descendants, representatives from the Jewish community, researchers and civil society representatives will take the role of a “Human Book„ narrating their personal experiences and stories about Holocaust and the anti-Antisemitic wave during the WWII. The participants will play the role of “readers“ listening to first-hand stories of the cruelty of the Holocaust, will learn details about the way that Jewish people were treated within their communities and discuss on issues of prejudice, stereotypes and stigmatization.

Participants

Young people, University students, representatives from the Jewish communities, researchers and academics, local decision-makers, civil society members and any other group who is interested in the topic.

When? Where?

The activity will take place online, through the ZOOM platform, on the 12th of February 2021, at 12:00 CET.

It will last 3 hours and will be divided into two parts including breaks.
